Meet our Church staff
Pastor and First Lady
Pastor J. DriscollI was born the son of Rev. and Mrs. Joseph Driscoll in the year 1955. My Dad was already in the ministry and was an Evangelist when he and my mother met, so I was literally born into a ministering family. God dealt with me and called me into the Ministry in 1971. I traveled with my parents as they preached across the South, drawing a picture each service of the theme of my Dad's sermon. In 1976, I married the young lady of my dreams Sheila Johnson. we immediately entered the ministry and have been involved in it every since. God blessed us with 4 children...1 son and 3 daughters. He has since added 3 more sons and 1 more daughter through the marriage of each of our children. We have since been blessed with 8 wonderful Grandchildren.
We planted our first church in the small community of Wells, Texas where we were privileged to Pastor 9 years. We moved from Wells to Daingerfield, Texas where we served under Pastor Carlton Watkins for 7 years before God so graciously called us to the beautiful city of Abilene. Our desire is to see a Holy Ghost church spring up in north Abilene. We love people and are proud to Pastor a church that loves people just as much as we do. We have a wonderful Sunday School for your children with a dedicated staff. We also serve Taylor County Jail inmates in ministry. Come visit us and be blessed. |
Sis. DriscollI married my husband on June 4, 1976 in Texas. We started our ministry together just two weeks later in Bossier City, La. We were Sunday school teachers to 4 & 5 year old children.
In the past 43+ years (almost 44 now) we have been in full time ministry in one capacity or another. I have been blessed to be the Pastors Wife in our local church here in Abilene, Texas since January 2008. Being a Pastors wife has taught me many things. For one, I have learned to love all people no matter who they are or what walk of life that they come from. My goal is to help my husband as much as possible to win souls for God, and take many souls with me to heaven. I am a blessed mother of four children in whom I tried my best to teach them of God, and how to live for God. They all four had received the Holy Ghost by age 7.5 years old. I was not raised in an Apostolic Home, and this means so much to me. I was a child that was picked up by others and taken to church, in which I am very grateful for this. I am now blessed to be the Ganma of eight Grandblessings, and I hope to teach them about Jesus, and take all eight of them to heaven with me too! |
